MCA Early Years Foundation Stage Tool
All children are on their own unique learning pathway. All pathways to learning and development should be supported and valued. The MCA EYFS Support Tool is designed to give parents and Early Years professionals a space to reflect on your child’s learning pathway to date and to help identify the ways your child learns best.
Within the MCA EYFS Support Tool you are asked:
- about your child’s current stage of development
- to consider your child’s strengths, interests and uniqueness
- to think about the main areas of development that you consider to be a priority for their next learning phase
The MCA EYFS Support Tool should be completed by parents/ carers of the child in collaboration with relevant Early Years professionals. This can be done together, or separately and then discussed together. The MCA EYFS Support Tool will support parents and professionals to identify strategies and methods to enhance learning opportunities and enjoyment of education for your child.
